Waste collection

JAY — A household hazardous waste collection will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 4, at the Jay Recycling and Transfer facility. Free to residents of Jay, Chesterville, Farmington, Livermore, Livermore Falls and Wilton. FMI: www.avcog.org; 783-9186.

Health kits

STRONG — The Strong United Methodist Women are asking for help as they put together health kits for the recent flood and tornado victims. Any of these items would be appreciated: new white hand towels, new white washcloths, regular size hair comb, nail clippers, bath size soap in original wrapper, new toothbrush in original sealed package, large toothpaste, adhesive bandages (Band-Aids).
