AUBURN — American Legion Post 39 will host a pasta supper from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 3, at the Post, 426 Washington St. Cost is $7 per plate.
Country jamboree
HEBRON — Hebron Pines Campground annual Country Music Jamboree will be held from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday, June 3, and from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, June 4, on Route 124.
Bands will include The Wildwood Band, “Lolalee” & The Country Bandits (will be on stage Saturday from noon to 1 p.m.), The Wildhorse Band and Dickie Henderson and Friends and more. Food, coffee, soda and water will be available. A bean or chop suey supper with all the fixings will be available for $6. A day pass is $7. Campers and tent sites are available.

History barn
NEW GLOUCESTER — The next monthly New Gloucester History Barn open house will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 4, at the History Barn, behind the Town Hall on Route 231. Historic photos and vehicles are on display. The next open house will be July 2 and will feature a public reading of the Declaration of Independence.
Benefit concert
FREEPORT — Playing It Forward benefit concert of New England has been set for 7 p.m. Sunday, June 5, at the Freeport Performing Arts Center, 30 Holbrook St.
The inaugural 2010 performance featuring Musica Camerata raised awareness about music and music education and collected more than $13,000 in donations for a musical instrument lending library.

Caregiving
LEWISTON — The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing at Central Maine Medical Center is offering a free lunch and learn for cancer caregivers titled “Caregiving Tips – Advice from a Nurse.” The session will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 6, at CMMC, 12 High St., conference room D.
Tamara English, RN, will discuss the physical comfort and practical needs of your loved one. She will also address pain, fatigue, nutritional challenges and other concerns.
