BRYANT POND — The Bryant Pond 4-H Camp & Learning Center, in partnership with Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife, will host the 6th annual Youth Field Day on June 4. Admission is free. Lunch will be available for a minimal charge, or visitors may bring their own. The event will be held rain or shine.
4-H Shooting Sports staff will run the archery range, rifle and shotgun range. Master Falconer Larry Barnes will be on hand to talk about falconry. Other activities include paddling, fly-tying, fishing, geology sluiceway, Maine Guide skills demonstration, primitive skills workshops, Maine Game Wardens k-9 demo, Maine ATV and more. Registered Maine Guides, certified instructors and other outdoor professionals will be leading each station.
Activities are appropriate for children ages 6 and over; all children must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration recommended but not required.
