AUBURN — The Auburn-Lewiston Kiwanis will hold their annual outdoor pancake breakfast from 6:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday, June 12, at the Auburn Plaza.
All-you-can-eat menu includes pancakes, famous Mailhots sausage, milk, syrup, coffee and juice. $5 in advance, $6 at the door, kids under 5 are free. Tickets are available at the door or in advance at Shaw’s, Hannaford or from any club member.
All proceeds are used to help youth in our community. Keyclubs sponsored by Kiwanis are at Lewiston, St. Dominic’s and Leavitt high schools. The Kiwanis have sponsored library passes, reading camps and books, help the Boys and Girls Club and the Root Cellar, college scholarships, bikes for small children, CPR courses, LA Arts, the Maineiacs, the YMCA and YWCA, Salvation Army kettle drive, in addition to pediatrics departments at CMMC and St. Mary’s hospitals.
The event has been held annually since 1957 on the second Sunday in June.
