DURHAM — Residents of Durham, Freeport and Pownal will be asked to approve two school funding questions in the budget referendum Tuesday.

The first question is the Regional School Unit 5 budget, proposed at $23,897,877.

The second is authorization to issue bonds in the name of RSU 5 for up to $2,978,324. The money would pay for work at the Freeport High School athletic facility.

Voting will take place at the Durham Community School from  8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Handicapped persons should use the marked handicap entrance at the front. Others should enter via the side door facing the Town Office.
