On May 28, Memorial Day was observed at the L-A Veterans Memorial Park with the dedication of 216 veterans named on the 20th stone. Following was to be the dedication of the monument of the unknown soldiers.

I was appalled when I overheard someone from the L-A Council say that members of the council would not be attending the dedication to the monument of the unknown soldiers.

What have we here? Divided veterans who served?

They can honor the veterans named on all 20 stones but refuse to participate to honor those who sacrificed all and whose names shall be known only to God?
