RUMFORD — Members of the American Legion Post 24 will hold an official American flag disposal ceremony on Wednesday, June 16.

River Valley citizens who wish to have their old or worn-out American flag properly retired are urged to drop the flags off at the post on Congress Street.

Rumford Boy Scout Troop 580 members will be assisting American Legion members at the event.
