Organist Harold Stover will present a program in honor of the feast of Saint John the Baptist at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 24, at The Basilica, Lewiston. Stover is organist and director of music of Woodfords Congregational Church in Portland, director of the Portland-based chamber chorus Renaissance Voices, and serves on the faculty of the Portland Conservatory of Music. His career as an organ recitalist spans more than 40 years. His compositions include concert works, liturgical works, and films scores in both acoustic and electronic media. His program at the Basilica will include works by Dupre, Bach, Tournemire, Franck and one his own compositions.
