Children danced, clapped and cartwheeled in front of the grand stage at the annual Kingfield POPS concert Saturday night. Deb Robie, the POPS Committee executive director, estimated 1,000 people attended the event. Maine folk musician David Mallett performed his audience favorite “Daisy a Day,” accompanied by the Bangor Symphony Orchestra. Steel drums and fiddlers provided an eclectic variety to the evening musical performances.
