EUGENER, Ore. —Local racewalkers Abby Dunn, Courtney Williams and Nicole Court-Menendez turned in personal best times competing in the 10 kilometer racewalk at the USATF Junior Nationals held at the University of Oregon in Eugene on Saturday.

Dunn, of Auburn, placed fourth with a time of 55:00.48. Williams, of Waterville finished sixth with a time of 56:29.52. Court-Menendez, of Lewiston, finished 12th with a time of 1:00:00.37. Dunn and Williams have earned a spot on the U.S. team to compete in the USA vs. Canada Dual scheduled to be held in Boston in August.

Dunn and Williams also competed at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals in Greensboro, North Carolina on June 17. Dunn placed second in the 1-mile racewalk and Williams placed third. Both girls earned All-American status.

The three girls are coached by Tom Menendez of Lewiston, who has been selected to be coach of the U.S. team this summer.
