NORWAY — Well Point Veterinary Service, 86 Roberts Road, has expanded to a new, modern facility with the help of the Oxford Hills chapter of SCORE.
Formerly housed in the same building as Responsible Pet Care of Oxford Hills, the new facility is much larger, with expanded equipment and services.
Well Point Veterinary Services provides the services to keep pets healthy through all stages of life. It offers traditional medical and surgical services, as well as alternative treatments of veterinary acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and massage. The new veterinary office includes exam rooms, a surgery room, X-ray and developing rooms and other rooms to care for pets.
Veterinarian Suzanne Best says pet owners may enter the examination room and stay with their pets throughout entire procedures to provide comfort and security.
Well Point Veterinary Service is open 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with office hours by appointment. For more information, call 743-6441.
Dr. Best began planning to expand her local practice several years ago, but wasn’t sure where to start. That’s where SCORE came in.
Oxford Hills SCORE, 2 Market Square, South Paris, worked with Dr. Best to develop a business plan and cash flow projection. Those tools helped her analyze her business needs and determine the extent of her business expansion. SCORE also assisted with securing funding for the expansion.
