Maranacook advances to Apple Valley final

Maranacook tooped Turner One, 8-0, amd Winthrop, 7-2, to earn a berth in the Apple Valley Babe Ruth baseball championship game against Monmouth.

Carson Dalheim pitched the shutout against Turner. Tucker Whitman led the offense with a double. Elwell, Brooks and LaCasse added singles. Mitchell Davis took the loss to Turner. Labbe and Tedesco had singles.

Elwell picked up the win against Winthrop over Jared Hanson. Tucker Whitman tripled and singled for Maranacook. Cam Brochu added two singles. Squires doubles for Winthrop.

Winthrop outslugged Turner Two, 12-9, in another matchup.

Hanson had a triple and a double for Winthrop (8-7). Matt Sekarak slugged a triple. Ben Allen slapped two singles. Nate Coombs and Tyler Chicoine each singled twice for Turner. Levi Morin added a single.

Zach Glazier was the winning pitcher.
