DIXFIELD — The Ludden Memorial Library summer children’s program opened Tuesday with Mr. I the Science Guy.

Bitsy Ionta engaged nearly 30 youngsters with his hands-on scientific presentation and utilizing materials found in most homes.

Ludden Library’s remaining children’s summer programs are:

Tuesday, July 12: “Birds of Prey” featuring wild animals, presented by the Chewonki Foundation.

Tuesday, July 19: Arts and Crafts Day. There will also, be an ice cream surprise for all who attend.

Tuesday, July26: Storytelling with the Katy Rydell. Cake and punch will be served after the presentation.

All summer children’s programs begin at 2 p.m. and are free of charge to all River Valley youths and their adult companions.
