AUBURN — Riverview Dental (7-1) picked up four wins in the past week to reclaim a share of first place in the Auburn Rec Men’s Softball League.

Joe Dumont and Scott Tiner led the charge. Dumont homered in each of the four wins, and Tiner made several outstanding catches.

The Dentists convincingly flossed previously undefeated NAPA, 17-8, on Thursday. Derek Lachance, J.J. Varney, Toby Tiner and Dumont had three hits each.

Riverview also cleaned Cascades 16-2, with Mike Dyer, Del Cooper and Joe Rathbun leading Riverview’s offense.

In a 16-11 victory over MainLand, Scott Tiner and Matt Hiscock each had three hits. Riverview dispatched the Gamers, 9-2, with Rick Smith, Ben Lachance and Bill Sutherland leading the offensive attack.
