To protect against potentially harmful UV rays from the sun, children at the Black Mountain Summer Day Camp were advised to “Slip on a shirt, slop on some sunscreen, slap on a hat and wrap on sunglasses.” That pearl of sun protection wisdom, along with many others, were part of a sun protection talk by Carol Emery, from the River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition on Monday at the Rumford ski area.
