On June 25, Gov. Paul Lepage joined a sold out crowd at the Happy Days Celebration at the 49 Franklin Reception Center in Rumford. The governor was joined by the First Lady, Anne, his daughter, Lauren LePage, and his mother-in Law, Rita DeRosby. The governor delivered comments that summarized his goals, achievements and next steps for the state. The 1950s retro theme was reminiscent of a time when the Rumford area thrived with opportunities. Party-goers dined on food prepared by 49 Franklin, danced to music provided by Grassette Entertainment and enjoyed the camaraderie of friends and neighbors. The evening was rounded out with raffles and hula hoop, twist and costume contests. Pictured from left is Jarad Putnam, LePage and Asher Wilson.
