LISBON — One driver was injured in a two-vehicle, rear-end crash on Route 196 at the River Road intersection late Thursday afternoon.

Lisbon Police officer Shawn Kelly identified the drivers as Shari Peveril, 35, and Joseph Wood, 24, both of Lisbon.

Peveril complained of neck pain and was taken to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. Wood was not injured, Kelly said. Both vehicles were heading west when the collision occurred at 4:30 p.m., Kelly said.

He estimated damage to Peveril’s 2004 Mitsubishi at $3,000; and to Wood’s 1993 Honda, 2,500.
