LISBON — Roxanne Jean Yates, 41, daughter, mother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 24, inside her home in Lisbon.

She was born March 2, 1970, to Shirley and James Rossignol of Fairfield.

Roxanne completed her high school education and graduated from Lewiston High School, Class of 1988. After completing high school, she proudly served our country by joining the U.S. Marine Corps, where she received an honorable discharge.

Roxanne had the love and support of longtime friend, Doreen Morgan of Lewiston for 25 years. Vicky Libby of South Paris was also a highly esteemed friend and confidant.

Roxanne enjoyed activities such as scrapbooking, gardening, decorating and simply relaxing on the beach. She was a member of Pathway Vineyard Church in Lewiston and enjoyed being involved in life groups there.

A proud and loving mother, Roxanne has two children, Kayla Yates and Tyler Yates of Lisbon. She is also the sister of Janice Rossignol, and great-niece of Nancy Arbour, Reed Thibodeau and Joe Thibodeau, all of Waterville.

Roxanne was predeceased by her father, James Rossignol; and beloved brother, James Rossignol Jr.
