Peak a Week participants gather at Rumford’s Eugene Boivin Park on Wednesday evening before car-pooling to hike nearby Black Mountain in Rumford. The hikers were to close out the hike with dinner and entertainment at the Black Mountain Ski Area base lodge, which is opening just for their event.
