AUBURN — Friday ArtWalk performances will continue on July 29 with music artists Bella Rocha and Dave Martin at the Hilton Garden Inn Riverwatch Auburn.

Rocha has performed in choruses and musical theater since age 7. While in the  chorus at Great Salt Bay Middle School she met Martin. They began working on their show of folk, pop and rock in December 2010.

Their repertoire includes old favorites done by Joni Mitchell, Stevie Nicks, The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix, as well as contemporary pop by Taylor Swift, Kate Voegele, Alison Krauss and Sara Bareilles.

Rocha and Martin have recently begun writing their own songs and will perform their original work on July 29.

Rocha has performed with the Heartwood Regional Theater Co., New England Youth Theater and Children’s Theater of Maine. In the fall of 2010, she took second place in the Maine NATS Musical Theater Competition. Every year, she and her father, mime and storyteller Antonio Rocha, travel to Brazil to give a concert benefiting the local English school.

Locally, you can often find Rocha and Martin playing at the Newcastle Square Pub. In the fall, Rocha will attend Walnut Hill School for the Performing Arts in Natick, Mass., as a high-school sophomore.

He has been building boats since age 12 and is now working in Round Pond. Prior to settling in Maine, he circumnavigated the world with his family in their sailboat for 15 years.

The Friday ArtWalk performance will begin at 6 p.m. at the inn at 14 Great Falls Plaza.
