BURLINGTON, Mass. — Holly A. Lamiette, 55, succumbed to the numerous illnesses from which she suffered for the past several years at the Lahey Clinic, Aug. 1.

She was born in Augusta, June 16, 1956, the daughter of William S. Tibbetts, her birth father and stepmother, Ardis Tibbetts, and the adoptive daughter of Gerard N. Lamiette Sr. and Gloria Lamiette, her birth mother. She grew up in Auburn. attended schools and graduated from Edward Little High School in 1974.

She later attended CMVTI in Auburn, earning her nursing degree. She was employed at St. Mary’s Hospital, Central Maine Medical Center and L&A Internal Medicine. She was an extremely caring nurse, a gourmet cook, and for a time, her wedding cakes were a thing of beauty.

She leaves her very good friend and companion, Byron Peters; her mother; her father; her sisters, Wendy Westerlund and Jacqueline Nelson; half sister, Sandra Morgan; stepsister, Laurie Dyer; half brother, William Tibbetts Jr.; as well as her aunt and uncle, David and Katherine Beaulieu; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father, Gerard N. Lamiette Sr.; and her brother, Gerard N Lamiette Jr. (Gerry).
