AUBURN — The Auburn Public Library will run several free computer classes during August.
“Using Microsoft Publisher to Market Your Business” will be offered at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15, in the library computer lab. The class will look at how to use Microsoft Publisher to create marketing materials for the small business that lacks a huge marketing budget. The advantages of creating fliers and what makes for an attention-grabbing flier will be discussed.
The library will offer a “Facebook 101” class at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16. The class will examine what can be done on Facebook and how to set up an account. Participants must have an e-mail address set up prior to the class to open a Facebook account.
The library will offer a Microsoft Publisher class but with a twist at noon Thursday, Aug. 25. The class will focus on creating personal correspondence such as greeting cards and invitations.
Space is limited so advance registration is recommended. To register, call the library at 333-6640, ext. 4.
