I remember what Nikita Khrushchev of the Soviet Union said about America back in the 1960s, during the Kennedy years — that America would fall apart from within. Overspending and two wars (the nation should never have gotten into) might do it.

Politicians have a bad habit of adding amendments (called pork) to bills that do not pertain to the bills. Those billions of dollars add up to trillions.

There are 272 millionaires in Congress, on both sides, and they don’t want to give up their tax cuts. The billionaires, other millionaires and big corporations don’t want to give up their tax cuts, either. But if the worst happens, they would still be rich.

The nation’s young men fight the rich men’s wars so the rich can stay rich. Do the rich really care about America? I don’t think so.

I am sick of sacrificing for the big corporations, the millionaires and billionaires. Political egos are killing America.
