MEXICO — Those wishing to enroll in a university course still have time to register before the start of the fall semester at University College at Rumford/Mexico. For most University of Maine System campuses, the semester will begin Monday, Aug. 29.

University College offers hundreds of courses from Maine’s public universities on-site, online and via interactive television and videoconference. Students also can attend classes at sites in Jay, Farmington, Kingfield and Rangeley.

Each semester, University College at Rumford/Mexico offers local access to courses leading to dozens of degrees and certificates. Courses in education, human services, business, healthcare, library science, counseling and the liberal arts are  part of each semester’s schedule.

University College advisers provide career counseling and assist students with financial aid applications, course registrations, book orders and computer access.
