WINTHROP — Sarah Braunstein of Portland will discuss her debut book, “The Sweet Relief of Missing Children,” on Tuesday, Aug. 23, at Bailey Public Library.

Her stories and essays have appeared in the Green Mountain Review, AGNI, Post Road, and on NPR’s “All Things Considered.”

Braunstein teaches at Harvard University Extension School and the Stanford Online Writer’s Studio. She is working on a second novel and a collection of essays.
