AUBURN — Roland J. Wills, 80, a resident of Edgewood Nursing Care Center, Farmington, passed away peacefully Aug. 19, at the Hospice House.

He was born in Fayette, Oct. 10, 1930, the son of Elmer and Lena (Webster) Wills. He attended schools in Turner and Livermore. He later served his country in the U.S. Army from 1948 to 1951.

He married the love of his life on Aug. 19, 1967, Josephine Seavey in Livermore Falls. She passed away on Feb. 2, 2002.

Roland was a truck driver for more than 47 years. He enjoyed spending time with his very large and extended family.

He is survived by 11 children, Mike Wills (Anthula) of Germany, Debbie Behlman (Jerry) of Eustis, Fla., Kenneth Wills (Denise Leblanc) of Lewiston, Norma Jackman (Kevin) of Livermore, Brenda Houghton (Robert Lagasse) of Lewiston, Dale Spencer (Donna) of Buckfield, Dennis Spencer (Judy) of Turner, Everett Moore (Janice) of North Turner, Josephine Ridlon (Steven Hebert) of Jay, Noreen Coolidge (William Sprague) of Weld and Norman Mitchell (Terry) of East Dixfield; his sister, Frances Schmidt of Livermore Falls; 46 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren; four great-great-granchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and a special friend, Kevin Gallagher of Mechanic Falls.

He was predeceased by his wife; parents; his sons, Anthony Wills and Charles Mitchell Jr.; his daughter, Joyce St. Laurent; and his sisters, Evelyn Savage, Alma Chandler and Barbara Rose.
