Thrifty Gift

PARIS — The grand reopening of the Thrifty Gift Shop will be Thursday, Aug. 25. The shop, located on Route 26, 659 Park St., South Paris, will be open Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

For sale will be new and gently used clothing, including name brand, for children and adults, and accessories such as pocketbooks, shoes and book bags.

Volunteers are needed to help keep the shop open and organized and to help make baked goods the day of the reopening.

Refreshments will be available. All proceeds benefit the Families In Crisis Task Force, which serves Oxford County families with several social service programs. For more information call Peggy at 357-7072.

Sunday School

WEST PARIS — The West Paris Baptist Church will hold an outdoor Sunday School cookout at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, immediately after church services.

Sunday School classes will begin on Sept. 11 for adults and children ages five through teens. Sunday School meets from 10:45 until 11:45.

Olympians, a program for teens, meets on Sunday evenings at 6.
