Taking advantage of storm swells in the wake of Tropical Storm Irene, Allison Reid of South Portland got some surfing in early Monday morning at Pine Point in Scarborough. Choppy waters kept most surfers away, but Reid said she couldn’t miss the opportunity to catch some serious waves.
