The donation to the Bethel-based organization went to the group’s annual Summer Adventure Program. Local bank representatives partnered with Mahoosuc Kids staff members during the recent Mollyocket Days festival to support the effort to provide affordable child care services for area residents. Half of the donation was raised during the Mollyocket Days festivities via a dunk tank sponsored by Northeast Bank, which featured local celebrities taking turns being dunked. Northeast then matched the collected funds. Hart said the donation allowed the group to bring the 75 camp attendees on field trips throughout the state that otherwise would not have been possible.
