Coach: Craig Latuscha (second year)

Last year’s record:  5-8-1

Returning players: Seniors — MaryKate Masters (MF), Jaclyn Masters (SK), Emily Hartnett (SK), Kelly Philbrook (FB), Melissa Paione (FB), Phoebe Chamberlin (FB); Juniors — Kate Sawyer (SK), Allaire Lever (MF), Abby Bellefleur (MF), Lexi Clavet (SK); Sophomores — Kory Norcross (SK), Taylor Landry (G).

Key losses: Emily Grund (MF), Frankie Lally (SW)

Promising newcomers: Senior — Liz Stauffer (FB); Juniors — Avery Chisholm (FB), Ayumi Ranucci (SK); Freshmen — Hannah Smith (SW), Molly Murray (G), Makayla Norcross (MF).

Outlook: Grund was an all-star player while Lally was an all-conference defender. Theirtalent’s will be tough to replace. EL still has some skill and experience up front. That should give the Red Eddies some scoring punch.  Philbrook and Chamberlin will lead the defense. EL hopes to improve on last year and challenge for a tourney spot in Eastern A.

Coach’s comment: “We look to continue building as they are in their second year of a rebuilding process. With one of the toughest schedule in the league, things will be very interesting. With hard work, dedication and discipline, we hope to make a push for the playoffs this season.” Coach Craig Latuscha
