Key losses: Boys: Jaron Jones, Brody Hines, Kjell Nordstrom; Girls: Gwen Beacham, Emily Reed, Eliza Richard.

Promising newcomers: Boys: Sophomores — Josh Horne, Noah LePage, Tim Meservier, Allen Taylor; Freshmen — Rickie Chen, Brendan Hickey, Dan Lesko. Girls: Seniors — Alexaiya Backman, Louise Legein, Emily Roberts; Junior — Deanna Richards; Sophomores — Macee Qi, Casey Rogers; Freshmen — Chenoa Jackson, Katherine Gunther.

Outlook: The boys looked to be a contender for the KVAC title, but a possible season-ending injury to Jones has knocked down those expectations a notch. Tracy and Jackson were top-20 finishers at last year’s conference meet and could help fill that void. Beacham’s graduation left a void for the girls, but second and third runners Cullenberg and Stancioff return.
