Returning players: Seniors — Zach Turmenne, Nick Michaud, Taylor Brown; Junior — Devyn Foster; Sophomores — Ben Morton, Dalton Rice, Matt Michaud.
Key losses: Jordan Strong, Dylan Cox, Jonah Williams.
Promising newcomers: Sophomore — Briana Morris; Freshmen — Chris Burns, Cam Letourneau, Heath Whitman, Cordell Brooks.
Outlook: On paper this team is pretty young, but the three seniors are all veterans of KVAC competition, and the team’s returning sophomores also played last season. There is nothing here to say that the Vikings won’t be at least as strong as last season, and will be in the hunt for the KVAC crown again this season. The biggest lesson still to learn here is how to win away from the friendly confines of the team’s home course.
Coach’s comment: “We have no superstars here, but we have a good group of very steady, coompetitive golfers. We have five or six guys that can all play at the top on any given day. I’d expect we’ll be pretty strong.”
