Coach: Jim Aylward (23rd year)

Last year’s record: 12-0, won Class B state championship

Returning players: Seniors — Ryan Glover (G/LB), Izaak Mills (RB/LB), Taylor Carey (TE/DE),  Devon Hamel (OL/DL), Justin White (T/DT), Nate Nicols (OL/DL), Matt Hosie (RB/ILB), Zach Radcliffe (QB/DB); Juniors — Tony Whalen (QB/CB), Tyler Sturtevant (FB/OLB).

Key losses: Cameron Kaubris (QB/S), Josh Allen (FB/LB), Christian Durland (TE/DE), Taylor Bradley (TB/DB), Ben Higley (T/DE), Tyler Mason (TB/DB).

Promising newcomers: Seniors — Isaac Roberts (E/DB), Kyle Duguay (TB/OLB).

Overview: This is not the first time the Falcons have lost a lot of big names to graduation and still been a preseason favorite in Class B. They still have a rugged defense, led by Ryan Glover, one of the best two-way players in the state. The offensive line is experienced, and Radcliffe is a dependable decision-maker under center. Hosie and Duguay take over the tailback duties  and will continue the Falcons’ tradition of physical ball-carriers.

Coach’s comment: “We know we have x amount of kids who can play. It’s just putting them in a position to be successful.” — Coach Jim Aylward
