BROOKTON — Kent M. Mileikis, 66, of 84 Martindale Road, Auburn, died unexpectedly of natural causes on Wednesday, Aug, 31, while bear hunting with his son John.

Born in Boston, Mass., on Nov. 29,1944, son of the late John C. and Edith M. Cummings Mileikis. He graduated from Newton High School and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in international marketing from Temple University.

Kent was owner of Minuteman Press and Minuteman Motors in Auburn and was a member of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Auburn.

He was a member of the Auburn Exchange Club and looked forward to the annual Gun Show every year to benefit area youth. He was also a member of the Downeast Street Rods and built several custom street rods, which were his pride and joy.

He enjoyed being outdoors, bow hunting, street rods and attending his children’s sporting events and will be remembered for being a dedicated father, his various hobbies and his total immersion in the hobby of the moment. He never did anything halfway, he approached everything he did with unparalleled passion. He had an unquenchable thirst for living life.

He is survived by his wife, the former Susan M. Warren of Auburn, whom he married in November 1986; his daughter, Amy Mileikis of Auburn; his sons, Ian Mileikis and John Mileikis and his wife Amy, all of Auburn; 4 grandchildren, Emma, Ryan, Casey and Audrey.

He was predeceased by a brother, John Mileikis.
