RUMFORD — Funeral services for Marion Learned Thurston, of Roxbury, were conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, at the MEADER & SON FUNERAL HOME, 3 Franklin St., Rumford, with the Rev. Linda Kimball officiating. Special music, “In the Garden” and “How Great Thou Art” was sung by Sammi Angel, who was on keyboard. Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Linda Kimball. At the committal, her niece, Mary Jane Robichaud, read the poem “May I Go Now.” Interment was in the Rumford Center Cemetery, Rumford Center. Pallbearers were Seth Marshall, Phil Drapeau Jr., Russ Sponsler, Jacques Chartier, Allen Chartier, and Mike Chartier. A reception followed the services at the Rumford Center Grange Hall.
