MINOT — An Italian dinner will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, at the West Minot Grange Hall, West Minot village. $8 adults, $4 under 12. Benefits Hebron Historical Society Building Fund. 

Black tie cats

NORWAY — The Responsible Pet Care Animal Shelter will hold a black tie sale on Friday, Sept. 30, at the animal shelter, 132 Waterford Road.

All black cats, as well as black and white cats, can be adopted for one half the usual fee. An anonymous sponsor will donate the other half of the fee. All kittens and cats have had their flea treatments, have been tested, have been wormed, have had all their shots (including rabies) and have been neutered or spayed.

The discounted price is $45 for kittens, or $40 for adult cats.
