One of the largest crowds ever to line Lewiston’s streets turned out yesterday afternoon in near perfect weather to ogle and cheer the city’s Centennial Grand Parade, a two-hour show of floats depicting past years, horse-drawn wagons and buggies, Civil Defense and National Guard vehicles, beauty queens and dignitaries, and snappy marching units.
