LEWISTON — A funeral Mass honoring the life of John J. Theberge was celebrated on Tuesday at Holy Cross Church, following prayers at the Pinette and Lynch Funeral Home. The Rev. Nathan March celebrated the Mass and Deacon Irenee Richard recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. During the Mass, the first reading was read by Brooke Poulin and the prayer of the faithful was read by Sarah Leclerc. The offertory was brought up to the altar by Jamie Spencer, Samantha Pedersen, Amanda Theberge and Melissa Bubier. Words of remembrance were expressed by Eric Poulin. Pallbearers were Ryan, David, Jake, Jared, Justin, Jeff and Rachel Theberge. Following the committal prayers at the cemetery, a reception of fellowship was held at Marco’s Restaurant.
