MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica — The wedding of Lynn Lorraine Bergeron and Jamie Eric Dumont was held at 4 p.m. on Aug. 4 at the Royal Caribbean Sandals Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Ambrose Hurid, minister, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Dumont is the daughter of Lucille B. Gagnon of Lewiston. Mr. Dumont is the son of Richard and Suzanne Dumont of Lewiston.

The bride wore a gown of satin and chiffon, fitted at the waist and flaring out with small train and rhinestones around the neckline. She also wore flip flop sandals and carried a bouquet of magenta orchids.

Michelle Chmelicki, sister, was honor attendant. Best man was Richard Dumont, father of the bridegroom. Usher was Devin Bergeron, son of the bride, who also walked her down the aisle.

A reception followed at the Royal Caribbean Sandals Resort, where the couple spent their honeymoon. They are residing in Bowdoin.

The bride received a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Southern Maine in Portland and is employed as a family nurse practitioner at the Family Medicine Institute in Augusta.

The bridegroom received a bachelor’s degree in public relations with a minor in athletic coaching from Suny Oswego in New York. He is assistant hockey coach at Bowdoin College in Brunswick.
