Colby 2, UMF 0
WATERVILLE —   Cami Notaro scored her second goal of the season 13 minutes into the second frame to break a scoreless tie and lead Colby to a 2-0 victory over the University of Maine at Farmington Tuesday in a collegiate women’s soccer matchup.

Beth Lebel played the first half in goal for the Beavers (3-3-2) and made seven saves as the two squads battled to a 0-0 halftime tie.

Notaro came upon the ball in the middle of the field and hit a low, sinking shot that got away from new UMF goalkeeper Crystal Johnson and went into the right corner. The Mules (4-2) added an insurance goal with 19:10 to play on a pretty ball from Maddie Tight to Marissa Simmons.
