WILMINGTON, OHIO — Natasha Cole and her two-year-old Quarter Horse, Chic’s Dig Legs, attended the American Ranch horse Association World Show  on July 18, where they place fourth in the two-year-old Ranch Riding and the two-year-old In Hand Trail class. They also placed fifth in the two-year-old Gelding In Hand and the Amateur Geldings Two and Under class.

Cole graduated in 2010 from Morrisville State College with a Bachelor of Technology in equine science, majoring in western breaking and training. While attending the college Cole was a member of the western riding team and was recognized as most improved rider of the year. Cole spent six months in Stephenville, Texas, for her college internship learning the business of running a training facility.

After graduation Cole worked in Colorado at a large reining facility. While there she realized that she was interested in a more natural way of training horses and applied and was accepted for an internship at Cornerstone Horsemanship in Reva, Va. After three months Cole purchased her horse, Legs, and after only one month of training was able to attend the World Show. She will continue to train her horse and others at the ranch in reining, roping, cutting and sorting of cows.
