AUBURN — A funeral Mass honoring the life of Normand A. Potvin was celebrated on Thursday at Sacred Heart Church following prayers at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard McLaughlin celebrated the Mass and the Rev. Kevin Martin recited committal prayers at the Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Augusta. The U.S. Army played “taps” and presented our country’s flag to Normand’s wife, Florence Potvin. Pallbearers were Corey and Dylan Potvin, Joshua and Sarah Laliberte, Todd Brisson and Rick Breton. A reception of fellowship was held at Davinci’s Restaurant following the committal prayers at the cemetery.
