LIVERMORE — Police were searching for a suspect late Friday after an armed robbery was reported at the Sunoco Station on Federal Road.

The report came in at about 9:30 p.m. Police were told a suspect with a weapon had robbed the store near the intersection of routes 4 and 108.

The suspect was last seen in a vehicle headed toward Auburn on Route 4, police said. The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Department sent deputies to the area and other departments were notified to be on the lookout for the suspect.

Few details about the heist were available later Friday as the search continued. Sgt. Rielly Bryant of the Sheriff’s Department was heading the investigation.
