LIVERMORE — Police have located a 38-year-old Lewiston man who allegedly robbed a woman at gunpoint Friday night.

A 21-year-old woman from Mexico told Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Department officers that the man robbed her on Route 4 in Livermore at around 9:30 p.m.

Investigating officers had spoken with the victim and suspect on Saturday, but hadn’t made an arrest. No further details were released because the case remained under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department at 753-2599.

A Livermore store was not robbed, as inaccurately reported in a story in Saturday’s edition of the Sun Journal.
