WATERVILLE, Maine (AP) — Police in Maine say 19 Colby College students are facing underage alcohol charges after an off-campus party in Waterville.

Police say none of the students issued summons after the party were involved in a separate incident two weeks ago in which more than 50 students were charged with alcohol offenses stemming from an off-campus party at another location.

Waterville Deputy police Chief Charles Rumsey said that late Friday a Collette Street resident told police about the party.

Officers determined some of the people at the party were of legal age, but a number were under 21.

The Morning Sentinel says the students are due to appear in Waterville District Court in December.
