HARRISON — The Western Maine Fish and Game club will be holding its fourth-annual Curtis Gray Memorial Turkey Shoot on Sunday, Oct. 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The range is located in Harrison on Route 117 adjacent to the transfer station.
The shoot will include all disciplines (rifle, handgun and shotgun). Bring your own ammunition. Refreshments will be available. Prizes to local businesses will be awarded to the winners.
Need some Christmas presents? The club will be raffling off a $100 gift card to Cabelas. How would you like to give someone a nice hand-made queen size Medallion Quilt? We will be giving one away to the lucky ticket holder of that raffle. Hunting season is upon us. Do you need a new rifle? Our last raffle drawing of the day will be for a 308 Ruger Scout Rifle with a scope.
Tickets for all raffles will be available. Proceeds will be used for community events and also will go towards the club’s building fund.
