Cuddledown Inc., a Maine company known for their high-end quality bedding and more, has raised almost $15,000 for this year’s Dempsey Challenge, putting their team in 4th place overall for fundraising as well as for number of team members. As part of their team, Cuddledown’s very own “Phill Power,” the Running Pillow Man, will be racing in the 10K race on Saturday, Oct. 8. Jake Holz, the athlete behind “Phill Power,” has been a runner since college, and has participated in a number of long-distance races, including a 50K (31 mile) race on Cranberry Island, which he completed in six hours. He clocked in 12th overall in the recent Freeport 5K.
