of Peru, formerly of Rumford, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

A party was given by their children in their honor at Worthley Pond in Peru.

Mr. Lavorgna is a retired teacher from the Rumford School District and Mrs. Lavorgna is retired from Boise Cascade.

Many family members and friends attended from Connecticut, Massachusetts, Kennebunk, Westbrook, Brunswick, Auburn, Peru, Mexico, Rumford and Veazie.

A day of socializing was enjoyed.
