NORTH TURNER — The North Turner Presbyterian Church’s annual Harvest Supper will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at the GAR Hall on Route 219. This is the final public supper of the season and one of the most popular with the local community.

This supper also marks the end of the silent auction for the handmade quilt which has been on display throughout the season.

The supper features roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, squash, vegetables, rolls and homemade pies of many varieties. The locally made apple cider, pickled beets and pickles also mark the end of harvest in this rural community.

Goodwill donations will be taken at the door but there is no set price. All proceeds go to the operational budget of the church. Church is held each Sunday at 9 a.m. and Sunday School is held at the same time.

The GAR Hall is located approximately 1/2 mile east of the Route 4/219 intersection in North Turner. For more information, call 224-7913 or 225-3370.
