LEWISTON — Ronald McDonald House Charities of Maine awarded a grant of $3,750 to L/A Arts’ After School Residency and Young Artists Program. The money will be used for project supplies.

The grant was one of eight awarded by the charity, totaling $90,149. Since its founding in 1989, the nonprofit RMHC of Maine has awarded more than $1.7 million in charitable grants to programs that positively impact families and children across Maine.
